On Monday, October 23, upon landing in Mexico City from Izmir, Turkey, where he participated in the 23rd International Meeting of Communist and Workers Parties, Comrade Pável Blanco Cabrera, First Secretary of the Communist Party of Mexico, was detained in the Benito Juarez Airport for approximately three hours. These repressive measures show how the AMLO administration and the bourgeois state feel the need to work outside the bounds of bourgeois legality, which promises Mexican citizens freedom of movement in and out of the country to frustrate the work of the party of the proletariat.
The Communist Workers’ Platform USA stands in solidarity with comrade Pavel Blanco and the PCM against this attack by the bourgeois state.

El lunes 23 de octubre, al aterrizar en la Ciudad de México procedente de Esmirna, Turquía, donde participó en el XXIII Encuentro Internacional de Partidos Comunistas y Obreros, el camarada Pável Blanco Cabrera, Primer Secretario del Partido Comunista de México, fue detenido en el Aeropuerto Benito Juárez durante aproximadamente tres horas. Estas medidas represivas muestran cómo el gobierno de AMLO y el Estado burgués sienten la necesidad de trabajar fuera de los límites de la legalidad burguesa, que promete a los ciudadanos mexicanos libertad de movimiento dentro y fuera del país para frustrar el trabajo del partido del proletariado.
