Why Learn Marxism-Leninism, In Brief

• As a science, Marxism-Leninism gives the most complete explanation of the inherent contradictions of capitalism, and guides the working class to the only possible solution for these contradictions, i.e. socialism-communism.

What is Socialism-Communism?

• It is the movement for the liberation of the working class (the proletariat) from the exploiting class (the bourgeois capitalist class)

How will this liberation be brought about?

• By the complete takeover of political power by the working class, i.e. the establishment of the dictatorship of the proletariat. This takeover will result in a society of cooperative producers, and ownership of the productive forces will take on a democratic character, in contrast to private ownership

Who will conduct this takeover?

• The takeover will be conducted by the workers themselves, with the Communist Party at its vanguard.

In what way does this relate to learning Marxism-Leninism?

• In this juvenile stage of our movement (the worker’s movement), it is paramount that we develop the Communist Workers Platform. This can only be done by the extensive ideological training of both its training and cadre in the science of Marxism-Leninism.
