Students and Youth, Join the Revolutionary Struggle! Join the Communist Movement!
In a world that demands progress, the students and youth, as children of working-class families, have historically been on the frontlines of revolutionary struggle. Recognizing their pivotal role in shaping the future is imperative.
Why is student and working youth involvement so vital? Students and the youth, often from the exploited class, do not make up a class separate from the working class. Class struggle, as an objective law of social development, exempts nothing and no one. Because this struggle is unavoidable, it is crucial for the youth and students to ally with the popular and working masses in the struggle for liberation from the bourgeoisie. Through unity, organization, and mobilization, we can win a better world! The youth have proven time and again that their united voices drive significant, powerful transformation!
The bourgeoisie seeks to distance the struggles of the youth, of the students, from their origins, encouraging individualism and detachment from the revolutionary struggle. However, from a proletarian perspective, education is a means to contribute to the emancipation of exploited peoples, not an end in itself. Who controls education determines whether it leads to liberation or enslavement.
Our collective power cannot be ignored. When unified behind a common cause, the youth, become an unstoppable force for revolutionary change. Our solidarity and organization amplifies our voices and sends a clear message to those in power: we will not stand idly by in the face of injustice.
The relationship between the youth and the Communist Party. The revolutionary struggle confirms that the existence of a revolutionary youth organization is necessary. Without it, the Party cannot effectively intervene nor specialize in the struggles of the youth, of the students. Without the organization of the communist youth by its side, the Party is unable to carry out its revolutionary program within the schools, universities, and elsewhere. The struggles of the youth are left to its own ends, without a correct orientation, entrapped within the boundaries of compromise with the capitalist system. Recently, our struggles have targeted important issues: the liberation of Palestine, the struggle against ICE, and the protests against the Donald Trump government.
However, higher levels of organization did not arise; incoherent plans were the norm, and the movements fizzled out without a larger objective. This is where we must intervene. The communist youth, guided in all aspects by the revolutionary positions of the Party, fights for the overthrow of capitalism and the construction of socialism-communism. We affirm that this is the only escape from the terror of ICE, from the murderous actions of the U.S.–Israel alliance in Gaza, from the domination of the two bourgeois parties, and from the exploitation of man by man; it is the path toward the abolition of private ownership of the means of production and the achievement of a higher standard of living and guaranteed social rights for us all.
For what other issues do the communist youth fight? All of us are born and raised in a system that cultivates rotten values and ideas. From the earliest days of our lives, we are exposed to individualism, competitiveness, exhibitionism, consumerism, and other deified values that pull us away from collective struggle. Every aspect of our lives has become commercialized: health, education, our relationships with others and even with our parents, and even our deepest feelings of love. There is no possibility of improving our lives unless money is involved, unless profit is produced. We are offered only irrational and unscientific theories as tools to free ourselves from this abyss. It is absolutely necessary for young people who belong to the working class not to remain trapped in the void in which capitalism imprisons us.
The communist youth serve the role of freeing the consciousness of the youth—the children of the workers and other popular strata—from the shackles of the bourgeoisie, to illuminate the path of the class struggle, and to include them in the greatest possible victory: social liberation, achieved through the struggle for socialism-communism. We are fixated on the future—for a world without the schools of the bosses, without imperialist wars, without the governments of the monopolies, without the scandals and corruption of the Epsteins that prey on us and are shielded by and implicate the highest echelons of the state. In our daily lives, where we encounter more and more obstacles to a dignified life, we walk the path of fearlessness and courage, with pride, to confront the bourgeois state and all its mechanisms, for its final overthrow.
